Logistics & The Working Process

Turnaround time depends on the project's complexity, but we typically complete most jobs within 7-14 business days from the final design approval. We will provide a more precise timeline with your official quote.

The best way to get an accurate quote is to provide us with any drawings or plans you have, photos of the item, desired dimensions, and the type of finish you're looking for. The more detail you can provide upfront, the more precise our quote will be.

We have a formal approval stage for all designs before any metal is cut. If a change is requested after fabrication has begun, we will pause the project and provide a clear quote for the additional work before proceeding, ensuring there are no surprises.

Yes. We have a selection of sample swatches for our standard colors and finishes. For highly custom or architectural projects, we can produce a small sample piece with your chosen finish for final approval.

We typically require a 50% deposit upon project approval to cover materials and secure your spot in our production schedule. The final 50% is due upon project completion, before final delivery.

Technical & Quality Assurance

We are proficient in working with a wide range of metals, including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. We can source other materials, such as titanium, for specialized aerospace or high-performance applications.

We follow a strict, multi-stage process. This includes meticulous surface preparation, precise application in an environmentally controlled booth, and digitally controlled curing ovens to ensure a consistent and durable finish on every part.

Yes. We frequently provide finishing services for components built by other shops. However, all incoming parts are subject to a thorough inspection to ensure they are suitable for our high-quality coating process.

For extreme durability against weather or chemical exposure, we often recommend a two-stage process: a zinc-rich primer base coat followed by a super-durable polyester top coat. For high-heat applications, we utilize specialized ceramic coatings.

We use a combination of high-temperature silicone plugs, caps, and precision masking tapes to protect all critical surfaces. This ensures that threads, mounting points, and tight-tolerance areas remain free of any coating.

Automotive & Custom Finishes

Yes. For safety and quality reasons, we require that all tires, valve stems, and wheel weights be removed from your rims before you bring them in. We do not offer tire removal or mounting services.

Minor cosmetic curb rash can often be repaired during our surface preparation process. However, we do not repair wheels that are bent, cracked, or have significant structural damage. Please send us photos beforehand so we can assess the condition.

A single-stage finish is a single color applied directly to the prepped wheel. A multi-stage finish, like a candy or translucent color, involves applying a reflective base coat first, followed by a transparent color coat. This creates a much deeper, more vibrant look but is a more intensive process.

Powder coat is very durable, but we recommend cleaning it with a pH-neutral soap and water, just like your car's paint. Avoid using harsh, acidic wheel cleaners, as they can dull the finish over time.

While we have thousands of color options, powder coating is a different process than liquid paint and may not offer an exact factory paint code match. However, we can work with you to find a powder color that is an extremely close complement to your vehicle's paint.
